An inventive world, a breathtaking love story, and stunning art come together in this new work by award-winning artist Tillie Walden."
“You don't get to decide what's important for us. You can choose for yourself, but no one else.”
― Tillie Walden, On a Sunbeam
This book was GORGEOUS! The love story and the art was just all so amazing. Fish-shaped space ships?! What a weird and wonderful idea! I also really loved how this story unfolded, part in the past and part in the present. There was a little bit of mystery and a heartbreaking love story. The art and world-building was so surreal and magical. I really love this one. I also just want to see more of this magical space world Walden created. Highly recommend!
